Ladbrokes Bingo has certainly enjoyed a marvelous year after going through a particularly successful makeover and attracting hordes of new players searching for a quality bingo experience. Although it has been a lot of hard work for management, the grind definitely paid off after Ladbrokes Bingo was chosen out of 300 other online bingo sites as the Bingo Site of the Year for 2009 by Which Bingo portal.
The prestigious awards were announced after thousands of players voted for their favorite site, and Ladbrokes came out tops ahead of a number of superior sites, including Foxy Bingo. The site has enjoyed outstanding growth in the past year and has made a meteoric rise in the popularity department after landing only 18th place in the awards last year.
An innovative television advertising campaign pushed Ladbrokes Bingo onto the online bingo industry radar last year and the results are obvious.
“It’s the most prestigious award in Online Bingo and we're thrilled to win it,” said Ruairi Boyle, Head of Games and Bingo at Ladbrokes. “We want to share this success with all our roomies who voted for us and helped us to the top of the Bingo pile.”
“Right now we're in the mood to party and the special celebratory games that we have planned for 31 January will be a great day for everyone in Bingo,” he added.
“We're already looking to 2010 to retain our title.”
The award for the Best New Bingo Site for 2009 went to Golden Hat Bingo, which issued a statement saying: “We would like to dedicate this prestigious award to all our lovely players who have always been there with us and helped us reach here. We would like to thank every player for helping us win this Best New Site of the Year award and reach these heights in merely 9 months!”
“Congratulations go to the winners, as well as all sites that reached the top 10 positions,” said Phil Fraser of Which Bingo. “These awards are voted for by players, and the players alone. We don't restrict votes to either a shortlist like other portals do nor do we 'nominate' winners – this makes the awards the most prestigious and valuable.
