Millionaire Bingo Winners

We all love to win, but imagine winning a million pounds, no mortage, fast cars, luxury holidays, in fact just luxury full stop. Well it has happpened and here are just a few millionaire stories...

Online bingo’s first millionaire winner was at Gala Bingo who made a millionaire of Pollyanna74, real name Pauline, in August 2007 who won their Million Pound Kerchingo promotion. She came top of 15,000 Gala bingo contestants becoming Gala bingo’s first ever million pound bingo winner. Lightening does strike twice as Pauline commented “I have be playing bingo for years; in fact I won £6,000 in the National Game 12 years ago. However, I’ve only been playing online for two months”

In January 2008 Christine Bradfield won £1.1million on the National Bingo game that links up halls around the UK becoming their first Platinum Jackpot winner.  She insisted she’d be sharing her winnings with her sister-in-law Lorraine Williams commenting "I wouldn't dream of doing anything else..Lorraine is family and best friend as well. We'll enjoy the money twice as much by sharing it around. We're like partners in crime and always shared our winnings so I knew this time would be no different."

In November 2008 one lucky online William Hill Bingo player, known only as 'Simon', scooped an amazing £1,566,056 playing Clover Rollover while he waited for his bingo game to start. He says of his win “I'm actually quite speechless, it is a bit of a shock. But this amount of money means so much, it's truly life changing. I'm not sure what I'll do with it all yet, just take a few deep breaths and have a think before I make any decisions."

There was another millionaire winner on the Clover Rollover at Mecca Bingo in July 2009 when Lynsey Mirehouse from Cumbria won £1.2 million. She says when she heard the news she had an immediate party at home with her husband and a few friends. “We haven’t been to sleep, we are still trying to come to terms with it all. I don’t play that often. I couldn’t believe it”
